MinXus Mail Bag: News of Miss Becca’s artistic triumphs (Suffolk, UK)

Mail-art by Rebecca Guyver (Suffolk, UK)

Our faithful correspondent Miss Becca was showered with awards in the MinXus-Lynxus Who Has The Best Hair Contest. It now appears that those accolades – including being named to the prestigious Order of the Tangerine Mink – were a foreshadowing that 2014 would be a good year indeed for the Suffolk Poultry Princess.

In several cases, due to unbecoming and inappropriate behavior, we have had to threaten to revoke crowns. This is not the case for Miss Becca. She sent news of her artistic triumphs that are dazzling us here in the bucolic backwaters of the Mink Ranch where fish are jumpin’ and the cotton is high. First, the wonderful stamps on the envelope tell of her far-flung contacts and fans in the Eternal Network. She is honored among Trashpoets and DKulters and is very active in DKULTUK:

Her name is recognized far and wide:

Her recent exhibition was a FAB success (so we hear through the grapevine), and she is the toast of the network.

With our muddy boots and country ways, we are ill at ease at such affairs. Miss Becca sent the brochure that, for us, is better than being there:

The top portion includes an asemic vispo background by the great genius De Villo Sloan!

Miss Becca has also been curating some smashing mail-art calls, and the exhibition is related to one we have already reported to Tenderfoots. We are thrilled to have documentation on the whole sequence of events:

And we will make sure to pass this along to the Overlook Hotel:

Awash as we are in postage due notices, it is nice on occasion to hear from those who have “done good.” Many congratulations to our very own Miss Becca, and don’t forget us down here on the Mink Ranch!
