Poetry – whatever the form reveals more that the writer intends I think? Beautiful – your present Muse is not lost.

CPSA, you are always too kind. What do I always tell you? They are exercises toward something finished (that never seems to happen).

Well, the classic concrete poetry, which this is more or less, it’s so geometric! But the overlays create asemic characters, which makes concrete asemics, which is a gimmick to last a few days.

The real inspiration came a few weeks back when I found a sheaf of your work. I blogged some examples. I am not sure if you saw it:

There is no finish – thats the good news, just a race well run. Scary to see that work again.

Please could I use some of your blog text on trashbooks and visual poetry for introductions for books for An Encyclopedia of Everything? Acknowledged of course. Your writing always clarified many issues for me.

Cheryl, you may use anything of mine anywhere you like!

Lord, and shall my legacy be the Captain Kirk of Trashpo? That is, the William Shatner of Trashpo?

Dark wall & I were just discoursing upon the bizarre nature of popcult & the strange career of William Shatner whose wooden performances on a cancelled TV series (Star Trek) locked him into a role he could never escape, regardless of all the later cop shows and commercials.

    “Trashpo….. the final frontier….”

“I’m ready for my close-up, Mr. DeMille.”

Thanks De Villo 🙂 – Popcult being the place where no-one can hear you scream?

Cheryl, it’s more likely the place where everyone hears you scream, but we’re going around it over it, any way but in it anyway.

Now I am going to do these vispo pages, but I have to wrap up a few other things.

Ok – good news that you’ll get to it :-). By the way, the Captain Kirk reference – he was obviously good at his job, hence his longstanding position…
