I saw this movie as a child, on TV, in the 1960’s. I loved it. Thought it so sophisticated. (Still do, I don’t mind admitting it.)

Thanks for joining us in the Bunk House for this perennial classic, Claudia. We had forgotten all about it then recently stumbled on a reference to it & decided to refresh our memories. It is certainly worthy of a revival at MinXus-Lynxus.

Of course, it qualifies because it has “mink” in the title. But there are many other relevant themes as well, such as fashion & some amazing hairstyles.

As for our own homespun spot of sophist(ication), we included the German version of the movie poster. Mink = Nerz.

Favourite line: ‘that’s some way to get a woman’s clothes off,’ Favourite moment, egg salad in the face. Great to see you Claudia. Where is Marie, she’d love this. mink, minx, MinXus. Thanks for bringing back the bunk house. I’ve missed it.

Miss Becca, you are a faithful follower of the Bunk House Cinema Series.

I remember “That Touch of Mink” from television re-runs. I think the automat scenes were very well known at one time.

Doris Day could certainly be a MinXus icon.
