L’oiseau chante avec ses doigts – MinXus Cream from Niklas Heed

IMG_0187

I’m thirsty, I’m cold, I’m lost. This has already been blogged elsewhere, but I think it belongs to MinXus-Lynxus. Pure MinXus cream. Niklas explained that the stamps on the back of the envelope are made after a 1930s photo of his grandmother. Those three stamps are the only ones existing before he “cancelled” the actual rubber stamp.

L’oiseau chante avec ses doigts (the bird sings with his fingers) is taken from Jean Cocteau’s play Orphée. Orphée writes wonderful poems with the help of a ‘spirite’ alphabet and a talking horse (probably Pegasus). Through the radio he receives messages of striking poetic intensity, and, in a way reminding of automatic writing, spends his days transcribing enigmatic sentences. One of the key sentences, coming up time after time is L’oiseau chante avec ses doigts. Is there anything more Minxus?….
