A Line/A Circle combines, for the first time, the contents of two highly acclaimed artist’s books by the Empress. The visual poems in the first collections (and accompanying text) were circulated through the international mail-art network and received much praise and acclaim; however, due to the very small number of originals, access has been limited. The e-book edition now makes these vispo treasures available to a broader audience.

In addition to being a stunningly beautiful visual poetry cycle, A Line/A Circle addresses the issue of the relation between traditional and visual poetics by exploring from multiple perspectives the concept of the line.  The concept of the circle expands this meditation to include organic form, which is so evident and innovatively used in all these pieces.

Please enjoy A Line/A Circle and visit MinXus-Lynxus at Scribid for new e-book publications!
