MinXus Mail Bag: News from Miss Vizma Bruns’ Sheep Ranch (Waitpinga, Australia)

Mail-art by Vizma Bruns (Waitpinga, Australia)

Our delightful correspondence with Miss Vizma Bruns was limited for several months by her whirlwind tour of the globe. Her visits included, we understand from breathlessly reading of her adventures at Yoma, New York and her beloved homeland of Latvia.

Like Miss Becca, Miss Vizma is a rancher in real life: A sheep rancher. Upon her return to South Australia, she sent us a weighty missive filled with Trashpo, vispo, local news, and ranching tips.

She thanked us for a MinX Kit sent some time ago that included asemic music:

Among numerous treasures that are only partially displayed here, Miss Vizma submitted a lexicon page. Lexicons are a favoured form of Empress Marie’s and we are thrilled add this to the MinXus USA collection:

Of great interest are local newspaper clippings from Waitpinga that provide some ranching tips. We also are able to catch up on current events in our favourite British colony:

A new but well-received artist in the Eternal Network, Miss Vizma has some tremendous stamps and decorates her envelopes with great adeptness:

And the reverse:

It is a treat to hear from Miss Vizma Bruns. We shall be sending her materials about the MinXus School of Beauty, should she some day seek more noble and gainful employment.

Great mail from rancher to rancher! I think Vizma needs an entire room to store all her mail art stamps. Just now I’m checking the definition of “chumpy” according to the Urban Dictionary. A good laugh.

Wolfe’s Snapps for kidney and bladder trouble 🙂 Sure. Looks like something the Mail Art Psychic would have with every meal.

Howdy Empress, me & Dw has been buried in chores today, just gettin head above water now.

We do have Miss Becca with her real chicken farm & Miss Vizma with her sheep. So we probably bore folks with all the talk about feed & critters.

Dw sent Ms. Vizma a Solar Fest piece so rude we is surprised we heard tell of her again – and him over at Yoma now claimin he can clone people if they send him their old shoes.

Ficus Shooting Gallery pieces are here. Also – I need to blog yer hole exhibition over yonder at Yoma. We is going to need a winter festival at this rate.

I’ll contact you via the “safe” channel as the waters is now crawlin with TOXIS, Neoists & now these blanged Anti-MinXus types.

The Shooting Gallery is back?! OMG! Did it work? Is is good? Did he hit the target? I can’t wait…
Oh it’s been a while without ‘spellin hasn’t it. No ‘spellin, Dw, please. We need the Ambassador. According to G-man he’s the king of seas 🙂 that’s completely not-the-point.

Dw, this is serious. Toxis is closing in. Files are wiped out. The Slim Jim dream is gone. Marie’s dictionary page 4 (work in progress) is gone. And this is only a small part of it.
